An epic journey in many parts and styles in search of Utopia or something like that...
Some of the music has roots going several years back and the work on this recording actually began before the release of our debut album - Fall of Episteme.
Then Covid happened and from then on suddenly everything went full stop! Cancelled concerts and so on, but slowly picking up the pace again FOE finished this recording in March 2023
lyrics
Where do you go - when you need a place to hide
When this show - is the same yesterdays
You`re looking for - the meaning of it all
Come take my hand - let me show you where to go
Living in Utopia (4x)
What do they see - in the life of this world
(If) they want to be - like sheep in a herd
Just leave them alone - cos we know what to do
Do take my hand - let me show you where to go!
Living in Utopia (4x)
You never know – if you never take a chance
Skip your fences – and brake down the wall
Live your life – the way it ought to be
Gotta take my hand – I know where you must go!
Living in Utopia (4x)
I watched your life - for a very long long time
I know your needs - what you are longing for
And only I - can fulfil your dreams
Ha! Don`t you escape - you`ll be back for more...

Soothfully a phenomenal prog rock album—an instant classic. What motivates me to say so, is the music’s incredible expressiveness & its wonderfully cinematic song structures. Jargon is a very good fit with this band. It is quite evident that the band’s current lineup have great chemistry together & that they share a common affinity to this vein of music. I look forward to their next creation. Drifting Sun are definitely one of prog rock’s brightest lights. Thank you, DS!

Although the 3 guest vocalists on this album sing wonderfully, and the songs are diverse and creative, I still prefer the voice of Peter Falconer. Still, I highly recommend this album, aware that my preference is somewhat of a bias. Some of the guitar playing on here is incredible. Despite the new vocalists, the sound of this album is still distinctly Drifting Sun. Personally, I give it 7.5/10. Alrihkh
The Long Island metal band's third album etches arena-sized hooks into their jagged compositions, deftly balancing experimental and poppy inclinations. Bandcamp Album of the Day May 12, 2022

For anyone who loves progressive music, this band, and this album, is a must listen. The closest comparison for me is the band IQ. Robin Peachy's vocals are very similar to that of Peter Nicholls. The title track is the one that really put the hook in for me, especially around the 6+ min mark, where the whole thing shifts into a very jazz/prog groove and is just fantastic! Sacrifced in Vein is another standout track. An excellent album for longtime prog fans and curious newcomers. Techsceptre
